The Aztec Double-Headed Serpent (Maquizcoatl), Quetzalcoatl, Charm 925 (Xb6)

• Usage: Priests or nobles likely wore it as a chest pectoral during sacred ceremonies or mounted it on a staff.
• Cosmic Duality: Snakes in Nahuatl culture (cóatl) represented rebirth, transformation, and movement across the sky, earth, and underworld. Two heads symbolized the balance of opposing forces, divine guardianship, or connections to war and sun deities like Huitzilopochtli.
