This is a museum reproduction jewelry of the Mexica Indians of Pre-Hispanic Native America, Mexico Very old, rare and Vintaged! Based on: Falling Eagle Ornament 🇲🇽 In this slope it is possible to observe in the circle that is represented in false filigree, the body of an eagle that falls, with the tail and the claws upwards. The head, which is too large, projects out of the disk and is much more elaborate than the body of the bird, which together with its size preferably fixes the observer's attention. The strong and strongly bent beak and the ruffled head feathers give the bird its characteristic predatory appearance. A butterfly hangs from the beak with the chalchihuite symbol in the center, and flames come out of it. As we have seen, the butterfly is the symbol of the flame. At the bottom hang four hinged earrings by means of rings; each consists of three sections; the first two are made up of bunches of feathers and the last one of bells. The ornament represents "the falling eagle" or cuauhtémoc, that is, the sun at sunset. It is one of the most elegant and best-made pieces in the entire collection, and the happy combination of the bas-relief technique, on the body of the eagle, and the round bulge on the head, makes it stand out with greater vigor. Falling Eagle Ornament.

Here, instead of the solar disk found in the other earrings already described, the body of a falling eagle, with its tail and talons raised, is represented in false filigree within the circle.

The head, excessively large, projects beyond the disk and is much more elaborate than the bird's body, which, combined with its size, primarily captures the observer's attention. The strong, strongly curved beak and the ruffled head feathers give the bird its characteristic raptorial appearance. From its beak hangs a butterfly bearing the symbol of the chalchihuite in the center, from which flames emerge. As we have seen, the butterfly is the symbol of the flame. Below hang four earrings articulated by rings; each consists of three sections; the first two are made up of tufts of feathers and the last of bells.

The ornament represents "the falling eagle" or cuauhtémoc, that is, the setting sun. It is one of the most elegant and well-crafted pieces in the entire collection, and the successful combination of the low-relief technique on the eagle's body and the rounded relief on the head makes it stand out even more powerfully.
