WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE MAKING THESE ETHNIC CARDS TO ANYONE!

WHO ARE THE MEXICA?
The Mexica were what everyone calls the Aztecs, however, the Aztecs were the Mexica’s ancestors that came from Aztlan. The Mexica were the people from Mexico during 1325 to 1521. The Mexica were victims of genocide and the survivors a victim of ethnocide that left no one today who can "authentically" call themselves Aztecs or Mexica. Therefore, the rest of us who have lost all of our tribal ties, identity and culture, and even those of us who have a tribal identity, can claim a "Mexica" identity as a general indigenous identity to unit and reconstruct our culture and pay homage to our ancestors.

Mexicanos, being descendants of 100% "Indians", i.e. Native Americans, at one time as Mexico is on the North American continent, continue to possess an average of 80% Native American DNA when tested.

Mexicans have more Native American DNA than many members of recognized Native American Tribes in the US, but we remain to be a tribe-less people. This is because we lost our "proof" of lineage that the colonizers demand in order to be a “recognized” tribe.

This is ethnic genocide to detach the original people of this land from their indigenous status and rights to their ancestral land!

To pay homage to our ancestors and to regain our status as indigenous Native Americans, we created the "Mexica Tribe". We are a non-recognized tribe for any Mexican people to help re-establish their true status as Native Americans, mixed and pure blood, to the American Continent, Anahuac and the Western Hemisphere, Cemanahuac.

YOUR RIGHTS:
Rights to cultural expression

Nobody has the right to force you to call yourself by your slave name.

It is not a crime to change your name at will, calling yourself anything you desire, so choosing an Aztec name is not really a "fake" name.

It is not illegal to assume a cultural identity or create an "unofficial" tribe of your choosing. It is not a counterfeit Tribal ID if it doesn’t replicate an official Tribal ID in existence. The Mexica Tribe is non-existent and unofficial. There are no official Mexica Tribal IDs in existence and therefore these do not attempt to fake any official cards.

Governments look at you as sheep and want you tagged with their names and identities just as a farmer does with his cattle!

The cultural assimilation of Native Americans was an assimilation effort by the United States to transform Native American culture to European–American culture between the years of 1790–1920. George Washington and Henry Knox were first to propose, in an American context, the cultural transformation of Native Americans. Since those days, things have changed and we are now free to be ourselves again and reclaim our identity without any threat of penalty by the European occupiers.

The American Indian Religious Freedom Act: Public Law No. 95-341, 92 Stat. 469 (Aug. 11, 1978) (commonly abbreviated to AIRFA), codified at 42 U.S.C. § 1996, is a United States federal law, enacted by joint resolution of the Congress in 1978. Prior to the act, many aspects of various Native American religions and cultures had been prohibited by law. It was enacted to return basic civil liberties, and to protect and preserve for American Indians their inherent right of freedom to believe, express, and exercise the traditional religious rights and cultural practices of American Indians. The Act required policies of all governmental agencies to eliminate interference with the free exercise of Native American religion and culture, based on the First Amendment. It also acknowledges the prior violation of that right.

DISCLAIMER: THIS CARD IS NOT TO BE USED AS A LEGAL FORM OF IDENTIFICATION. THE "MEXICA TRIBE" is not a registered or recognized tribe by any governmental agencies, federal, state, Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) or the Comision Nacional para el Desarrollo de los Pueblos Indigenas (CDI).
